Martin Trang appointed as QTech Games’ new Global CMO
Trang has experience in marketing and sales, product management and business development, having served as regional director for Southeast Asia at Frosmo, regional manager for Norway at British American Tobacco, and vice president of global branding at Orion Pharma.
Trang was educated with a master’s degree in materials technology at the Royal University of California. He also holds a master’s degree in financial management from Hanken University of economics.
The new appointment of QTech Games also has more than 20 years of experience in working across the iGaming field.
QTech Games Board of Directors statement. “Following Daniel Long’s recent appointment as CCO, I am pleased that Martin has now agreed to join the CMO in its permanent full-time capacity.
“That means we can really start next year and refine our commercial routes and brand strategies ahead of numerous other important trade shows from ICE London and Asia to Africa, Eastern Europe and Latam over the coming 12 months.
“His background also develops the keen analytical eye, sound commercial judgment, and skillful stewardship of our burgeoning QTech Games marketing team.”
Trang also spoke about the new appointment, calling QTech not only an Asian aggregator but also a “true” international distributor.
He said, “I’m delighted to be working full-time at such a firm and progressive company. Implementing the right strategy for the ‘two-core’ model was critical to QTek Games’ continued success.
“First of all, by fully owning QTech games beyond great games, we are able to differentiate QTech games and provide some flexibility that no competitor can match.
“And secondly, outside of Asia, we have secured strongholds in all important ‘margin’ markets, showing organic growth across channels and borders. It gives us a unique position and position in this space.”
